Dr. Gloria Ramos Gonzalez has been in the field of education since 1996. Over this time, she has been a bilingual classroom teacher across several school districts, a bilingual reading specialist and staff developer. She has also worked in academic language research, and is currently serving as a mentor to several dual language schools.


Gloria earned her doctorate from the University of Southern California. She also holds a Masters of Education in Language and Literacy from Harvard University with a reading specialist credential. Her undergraduate work is in Liberal Studies and Psychology from Mt. St. Mary’s University with a minor in Spanish from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico.


Gloria lives with her husband and three beautiful daughters in California. She loves doing outdoor activities with her family. They enjoy hiking, swimming, biking or just basking in the morning sun with a good book!
